How It Works

1. Book Your Appointment:
   • Schedule an appointment at the appropriate Embassy, Consulate General, or Honorary Consul’s office.
2. Prepare Your Documents:
   • Use our detailed checklist to gather all required documents.
3. Attend Your Appointment:
   • Present yourself in person for identification, biometric data capture, and document verification.
4. Processing & Delivery:
   • Your application is processed by the relevant authorities. Once approved, your new passport or ID card is sent to you by courier.
5. Ongoing Support:
   • We provide continuous support and updates throughout the process.

Documents Required

For Adults

• Current Austrian passport (or Police Report if lost/stolen).
• Birth certificate (long version with Apostille if issued in the UK).
• Proof of Austrian citizenship (Staatsbürgerschaftsnachweis).
• Marriage certificate / divorce decree (if applicable, with Apostille).
• Proof of residence (utility bill, not older than 3 months).
• Proof of legal residence in the UK (UK residence permit, pre-settled/settled status, British/Irish passport, visa).
• Passport photograph (EU-compliant, taken within the last 6 months).
• Application form (fully completed and signed).
• Affidavit (Adult).
• Fee (paid by debit card, amount varies based on exchange rate).

For Children (Under 18) & First-Time Applications

• Passports of both parents.
• Birth certificates of parents (with Apostille if issued in the UK).
• Child’s Austrian citizenship proof (or parents’ Austrian citizenship proof for first-time applications).
• Marriage certificate of parents (if married, with Apostille).
• Proof of custody (if parents are divorced).
• Affidavit (Child & Austrian Parent).
• Application form (fully completed and signed).

PLEASE NOTE:

• Apostilles issued by Notaries cannot be accepted.
• All original documents must be presented at the appointment.
